Hi, welcome to my website! I am an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) at the Department of Economics, Lancaster University.
I am an applied micro-economist. My research mainly focuses on the dynamics of firms in developing countries in relation to various issues regarding international trade and economic development. In particular, I look at how changes in different types of market conditions affect firm-level outcomes such as trade, productivity, wages, demand for labour, product choice, innovation, organization, etc. using firm-level data.
I finished my PhD from Graduate Institute (IHEID), Geneva in 2013. Upon then, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Economics, University of Oxford (2013-2016) and a visiting fellow to the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs between 2015-2016. Before joining Lancaster, I was an Assistant Professor in Jawaharlal Nehru University, India between 2016-2017.
