Hi, welcome to my website! I am an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) at the Department of Economics, Lancaster University from Fall 2017 onward.

I finished my PhD from Graduate Institute (IHEID), Geneva in 2013. Upon then, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Economics, University of Oxford (2013-2016) and a Visiting Fellow to the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs between 2015-2016. Before joining Lancaster, I was an Assistant Professor in Jawaharlal Nehru University, India between 2016-2017.

I am an applied micro-economist. My research mainly focuses on the dynamics of firms in developing countries in relation to various issues regarding international trade, innovation, labour economics, and economic development. In particular, I look at how firms respond in terms of their trade patterns,  compensation, demand for labour,  fragmentation of production, product choice, innovation/technology adoption, investments, network formation, etc. to changes in different types of market conditions using firm level data.

I have also consulted for international organizations like the World Bank, UNCTAD, and the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East-Asia (ERIA).

You can find my CV here.
